What does this role/roles involve? |
I’m the Society’s Commander in Chief and my role is to make sure we have fun on the big night but stay safe. There’s a lot of planning and discussions with various bodies such as the police, ambulance, fire brigade etc; safety meetings; making sure we get a great route mapped out with procession timings and torches in all the right places; communicating with our brilliant captains and leads and all the folk who make bonfire spirit come to life. I love it when a plan comes together! FIRESITE TEAM Helping safely assemble and disassemble the firesite. |

What do you most love about your role/s? |
The camerarderie is fantastic – not just in our Society but in the wider Bonfire family. |
